Kunos has revealed Free Roam for Assetto Corsa EVO, an open world built around Germany’s Eifel region and the Nürburgring. The first playable area will connect the Nordschleife with nearby villages and roads.
The studio says road lengths, widths and elevation changes follow the real locations. Variable weather, a day and night cycle, and AI traffic are part of the plan.
Solo and multiplayer exploration are planned, alongside optional events such as Time Attack. The announcement set the first public hands-on for Sim Racing Expo in Frankfurt, 16–18 October. A wider release date was not given in this announcement.
