Thrustmaster has opened pre-orders for the T-GT III, its new officially licensed Gran Turismo 7 racing wheel. What's in the box

The T-GT III is a complete bundle: a Direct Axial Drive wheel base, the T-GT wheel rim and the Raceline 2-Pedals Load Cell pedal set. Thrustmaster calls it the very first Direct Axial Drive bundle designed for Gran Turismo, and says it's "the first to natively feature a load cell pedal set". The base

The base delivers 5 Nm of constant torque, with up to 10 Nm of overshoot. Thrustmaster quotes 5 ms latency. A Race Dash display shows speed, revs and lap times, and lets you adjust force feedback and pedal settings. There are also new haptic effects, Gear Jolt and Engine Roar, which you can adjust on the fly. The wheel and pedals

The 28 cm round rim has four rotary encoders, two mini-sticks and metal paddle shifters. Its controls are mapped automatically in Gran Turismo for traction control, brake balance, engine mapping and torque distribution. Gran Turismo 7
